Quick answer: every article aims to explain a single concept clearly, using plain English, consistent terminology and links to closely related pages - and we revisit rules-sensitive pages when official rules change.

How Articles Are Written

Each article is scoped to answer one clear question - "What is a liberty?", "What does Level 2 mean?" - rather than combining many loosely related topics. We favour depth on a focused topic over broad, shallow coverage.

Accuracy and Terminology

Cheer terminology can vary between gyms, regions and governing bodies. Where a term or rule is genuinely rules-sensitive (levels, age grids, scoring, legal skills), we say so, and we avoid stating specific numeric rules as fixed when they vary by governing body or season. See our rules and scoring policy.

Updates

Rules-sensitive pages carry a "last checked" date. High-refresh content - levels, age grids, scoring and competition formats - is reviewed most often. See our sources page and our corrections process.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any gym, governing body, competition provider or event, and we do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage of any organisation.
